Technique, vocation and commitmentNauthentic was born from the hard work, passion and accumulated experience of Ronny, our founder. Although he grew up in Berlin, far from the sea, from a young age he felt a strong attraction for technical and challenging environments. That restlessness led him to train as a military man in the navy, where he discovered his true vocation: the sea and the inner workings of ships.
“It was in the navy where I learned about discipline, precision and working under pressure. And also where my history with seamanship began.”
After completing his training, he moved to Mallorca to work as a monitor at a sailing school. Although his initial role was different, he soon began to take charge of boat repairs. That was the turning point: the more he got involved, the more his fascination for the nautical world grew.
Specialization in nautical climate control
Over the years, Ronny has been working on different technical systems on board. Air conditioning became his specialty: a perfect combination of comfort, technology and challenge in confined spaces.
“I was attracted by the complexity of finding efficient solutions under demanding conditions. Over time, I specialized in Dometic systems, with whom I have been working for more than 18 years. “Over time, Ronny delved deeper into different technical systems on board. Nauthentic's birth
Birth of NauthenticIn 2008, Ronny decided to take the plunge and work on his own. He started with bigger and more demanding boats, until he collaborated with shipyards such as Princess. Thus Nauthentic was born, with a name that synthesizes his way of understanding his work: nautical and authenticity.
“I always talked about the authenticity with which I involved myself in each project. Nauthentic was the natural way to name that philosophy.”
In 2014, he was recognized internationally by Dometic for his track record in onboard systems maintenance.
Working philosophy
Ronny leads the team by combining the technical side with management, ensuring that each client receives a customized, effective and honest solution.
“I strive to make the most of what is already on board, without imposing the biggest or the most expensive. Even a small repair must look better than it was.”
His day-to-day is marked by direct involvement, detailed planning and precise execution. He leads with closeness and by example, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
